Even in the most cloudy days, the pale silver light coming out from behind the clouds blinded her eyes full of darkness.
She hide her face in patterns of roots that writhed in hundreds of snakes in the pale light of the forest evening. Shadows of a turquoise hue covered her skin with moss, her hands turned into flexures of branches. The line between her own consciousness and forest essence is lost in the misty depths, it seemed the forest had swallowed her, or she became his Guardian, giving the earth and the black roots her heart.
